Orders for in-stock pieces typically ship out the next business day after your order is placed.Custom & Made-to-Order Items
For custom work, shipping occurs upon completion of the project. Estimated timelines and production schedules will be clearly outlined in your personalized proposal so you know exactly what to expect.
Custom Work & Quoting Process
Custom orders are where artistry meets precision — and we’re honored to bring your vision to life.
When you request a custom piece, you’ll receive a detailed proposal that includes:
A project timeline
A breakdown of costs
Any materials or design specifics we’ve discussed
We do everything possible to honor the quoted timeframe, and most projects are completed on schedule. However, due to the meticulous nature of our hand-refinement and fabrication process, we appreciate your understanding should a project require additional time to meet our quality standards.
Throughout the entire process, we’ll maintain consistent communication, keeping you updated on your project’s progress every step of the way. Each custom piece is more than just a product — it's a collaborative work of art, crafted exclusively for you.
Product Disclaimers
At Marett Precious Metals, every item we produce is hand-refined, hand-poured, and hand-finished in small batches — using a balance of traditional craftsmanship and modern precision tools like laser embossing. The result is a product that is rich in character, intentionally imperfect, and entirely unique.
Hand-Poured & Custom-Crafted Work
Because of our artisan process, natural traits and variations are not just expected — they’re a sign of authenticity. These may include:
Pour lines and cooling marks
Layering effects or striation lines formed during solidification (often visible from the sides)
Slight asymmetries or soft transitions along edges
Minor tool or finishing marks from shaping or engraving
Variations in dimensions, weight, or thickness
Pits, crevices, and surface texture variations
Even with the use of advanced tools like our laser embosser, these details remain. Laser-engraved elements may exhibit subtle surface variance or texture shifts that differ from the flawless uniformity of mass-produced, die-stamped products. That’s because our goal isn’t perfection — it’s authenticity, depth, and character.
What is not considered acceptable (and extremely rare in our process) includes:
Major warping or distortion inconsistent with the piece’s intended form
Incorrect or missing engraving or custom design work
Severe surface damage unrelated to the creation or shipping process
If you believe your piece falls outside of these standards, please notify us within 5 business days of receiving your order. We're committed to making it right.
Purity & Refinement Standards
We don’t rely on third-party labs — we rely on our process, and that process is deliberately overbuilt for one reason: certainty.
Each batch of precious metal is purified through multiple, rigorous stages that eliminate impurities beyond standard commercial requirements. We refine until there is no doubt — and we’ve consistently produced material that surpasses .999 benchmarks.
We do not issue formal assay reports, but we’re happy to explain our methodology to any customer who wants to understand how and why our metal is so pure. If absolute confidence matters to you, you’re in the right place.
Shipping Information
All Marett Precious Metals orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate, offering reliable service and fast delivery across the United States.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated Delivery: Typically 1–3 business days, depending on the destination
Delivery Days: Monday through Saturday
Note: Delivery timelines are not guaranteed and may vary during peak periods or due to postal delays
Packaging, Tracking & Security
Packaging: Each order is securely packaged in appropriate USPS Flat Rate boxes or envelopes to ensure safe transit
Tracking: A tracking number will be provided once your order ships
Signature Requirements: For high-value orders or at our discretion, a signature may be required upon delivery
Merchandise Shipping (Apparel & Accessories)
Marett-branded apparel, accessories, and other merchandise are fulfilled by a trusted third-party provider and ship separately from our handcrafted precious metal products.
Shipping Times: Most merch orders are processed and shipped within 2–5 business days
Tracking: You will receive a separate tracking number from our merch partner
Returns & Cancellations: All merch sales are final, except in cases of damage, incorrect items, or defects. Please contact us within 5 business days if an issue arises.
Order Changes & Cancellations
We understand that sometimes plans change — and we do our best to accommodate.
In-Stock Items: Orders may be changed or cancelled prior to shipment. Once shipped, our standard return policy applies.
Custom Orders: All custom orders are final once production has begun. Because these pieces are made-to-order, changes or cancellations are not possible after that point.
If you're unsure whether your order qualifies for cancellation or changes, contact us right away and we’ll do our best to help.
Returns & Exchanges (Precious Metal Products)
In-Stock Items: Eligible for return within 5 business days of delivery if unopened and undamaged. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived incorrect or damaged.
Custom Items: All custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale and non-refundable once production begins. Exceptions may be made in cases of error or damage upon delivery.
Returns & Exchanges (Other Products)
All products in the Gemstones, Merch, & Other Treasures categories are either made to order or reclaimed treasures and are not eligible for return. All sales for items in these categories are final.

Custom Orders
For custom pieces, full payment is required upon approval of your proposal. A secure payment link will be provided, and production will begin once payment is received. These pieces are non-refundable once production begins.

In-Stock Products
In-stock items are shipped in the exact packaging shown on their product pages. What you see is what you'll receive — clean, secure, and professionally presented.
Custom Work
Custom pieces are delivered in bespoke packaging, tailored to the specific needs of the item. If you have packaging preferences, we’re happy to discuss options prior to finalizing your order.
Certificates, Serial Numbers & Digital Documentation
Certificate of Authenticity
Every Marett Precious Metals piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity featuring:
The official product name
Its unique serial number
The signature of the artist who created it
Serial Numbers
Unless otherwise specified, every Marett piece is engraved with a unique serial number, discreetly matched to the number on its certificate.
USB Flash Drive (Custom Work)
Custom orders may include a flash drive containing:
Design files or engraving proofs
High-resolution images
Production documentation
Sales Tax & Exemptions
Sales Tax Collection
Sales tax is automatically calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, in compliance with state and local tax laws.
Resale Certificates
If you're purchasing for resale, please contact us prior to ordering to submit your resale certificate. Once verified, your account can be marked tax-exempt for qualifying purchases.
